Kay Beckham

Kay Beckham is an Oregon native with a love for the Beauty of Creation, particularly in the Pacific Northwest.  An english teacher, she also naturally appreciated the written word and has enjoyed combining encouraging words with images from the natural world.

 After studying historical calligraphic scripts from internationally known calligraphers, Beckham turned to painting to enhance the messages she scribed; seeking always to communicate hope and encouragement. An avid hiker, kayaker, bird watcher and gardener, she finds ample material for her artwork in nature.  Her work is charactized by soft colors and a variety of writing styles.
