Quality early Nevada oil by highly regarded American Impressionist, George W. Picknell. 12 x 16 signed LL. This piece was done near Minden Nevada, depicting the poplars along the viaduct/irrigation ways that run through that area. All palette knife on old Windsor Newton beveled wood panel in excellent condition. Obviously done in the true "plein aire" style. Quality metal leaf frame. Picknell is listed in all references and has excellent auction records
