Realist painter, a native of the Bay Area, and graduate of the Academy of Art College in San Francisco. He participated in a prestigious exhibition at the Vose Gallery in Boston in early 2004. Forfang graduated with honors from the Academy. He is much admired for his confident, brushy, airy, and colorful approach to the still life. He excels at moody colorations and arrangements with playful tension. When combined, they offer a young man's point of view with an already accomplished painting style, belying his age.
