This is an original signed oil painting on massonite. The actual painting measures 19" by 15", framed the measurements are 25" by 21".

The painting is in excellent condition, with colors still bright. Frame shows some signs of age.

ART EDUCATION: One year of Fine Art at Toronto University and one year of evening courses at Queen’s University, Kingston with André Biéler; summer courses at Queen’s University with Professor George Swinton and Alex Millar; eight years at Ottawa Municipal Art Centre with Brodie Shearer, David Partridge, Duncan de Kergommeaux, James Boyd and Burrell Swartz; summer courses with Alex Millar, Gustav Weisman and Maienka Hrubi . one year of drawing and painting with Henri Masson and two years of further study with Brodie Shearer; seven years of print making with "Graphic Workshop ‘68" and two years of life drawing at the Ottawa School of Art with Richard Gorman. From 1978 to the present, more life drawing workshops at Ottawa Technical H.S., "Five Below" in Nepean and "Nepean Visual Arts". From 1979 to the present, water-colour in Rockport, Mass., U.S.A. with Martin Ahearn, Domenic Di Stefano, A.W.S., and Betty Lou Schlemm, A.W.S.

TEACHING: Five years with Ottawa Board of Education adult classes after earning a certificate to teach in 1973-1974. Simultaneously, one year teaching at the Good Companions, Ottawa.

PRIZES: Awards for an oil landscape at Bells Comers Arts Fair and a watercolour landscape at an Ottawa Art Association exhibit, both judged by Dr. A. Y. Jackson. An award for the best figure oil study at Bell’s Corners Art League, judged by Dr. Maurice Haycock. Honorable Mention received for a watercolour at an Ottawa Art Association show, judged by Dr. Henri Masson.
