Born in a suburb of Barcelona, Spain, Elvira started to paint at a very early age of fourteen. Her attraction to the arts was so great that it became a necessity to realize her dream of becoming an artist.. She attended the D´art l´Escola Massana of Barcelona in 1965. In 1969 she studed painting at the Academy Joan Baixas in Barcelona.
When she finished at the Academy she entered the Cercle Artistic de Sant Lluc in 1971. Her craft was further enhanced by working in Perugia and Florence, Italy. She has exhibited in numerous shows throughout Europe.
